Federal Tyres joins ITMA

Taiwanese tyre manufacturer Federal Tyres has joined the Imported Tyre Manufacturers Association (ITMA), and in doing so receives access to regular updates on technical and legislative matters affecting the sale of tyres within the EU, helping it to ensure its products remain fully compliant for sale.

“We are delighted to welcome another major, established global tyre manufacturer into the ITMA ranks,” commented ITMA president Alfred Graham. “Despite being such a recognised international brand, Federal’s membership reinforces the extra levels of support and intelligence that tyre manufacturers need when operating in Europe, and we look forward to being able to provide this assistance.”

Federal Tyres’ global sales and marketing director Da-Wu Chen added: “Apart from the cutting-edge technology and outstanding total quality management that Federal Tyres already owns, we believe that, to be an ITMA member and cooperate with it, Federal’s products could certainly penetrate European market and meet local customers’ expectation.”
