ATEQ Europe to present VT56 OBDII diagnostic tool
TPMS diagnostic tool world leader ATEQ will present its new VT56 OBDII in Hall 1 Stand C42 at Reifen 2014. The manufacturer says the VT56 is the first TPMS tool to offer adaptability to the technician’s needs. The tool features an ergonomic keypad and provides sensor triggering and programming. It also features a high-resolution 4.3-inch colour display.
The VT56 is designed to give technicians a faster and smarter experience that continuously adapts to their needs. Its new features include icon-based navigation to ease scrolling through multiple menus and features. The tool has a new eight-button soft keypad to aid navigation. The VIN barcode reader makes entering VIN numbers easier, the company says, while the integrated reader is a work-saving feature that automatically captures the VIN number of the vehicle and decodes it for fast vehicle identification. ATEQ’s improved OBDII transfer technology increases the vehicle coverage for both domestic and import models. Finally, the tool’s Help and Training menus include the latest information, minimizing downtime.
The VT56 will be the first ATEQ TPMS tool to print wirelessly with an optional docking station integrated printer. Users will no longer require a computer to print detailed TPMS information for customers. A video showing the tool in action is available below.
