Heuver Tyrewholesale distributing Athlete wheels to the European market

Heuver Tyrewholesale is promoting its exclusive distribution of its own brand “Athlete Wheels” in Europe. Heuver reports that it has been able to compile “a complete range of wheels that meets the latest trends in the European market.” The Athlete Wheels range features steel wheels suitable for trucks and trailers. The range now also includes sizes 11.75-19.5 ET120 and 14.00-19.5 ET120 for the latest BPW Ecodisc axles.

“We have a very tight-knit relationship with the factory where Athlete Wheels are manufactured”, states Bertus Heuver, director of Heuver Tyrewholesale. “The factory is very receptive to our knowledge of the European market. As exclusive importer/distributor, we are responsible for identifying European trends. The factory quickly understands them and is so flexible that it can develop and manufacture a variety of new wheels in a very short time span. This approach has helped to establish a competitive supply programme that meets the needs of the market. The latest additions are wheels in sizes 11.75-19.5 ET120 and 14.00-19.5 ET120, which have been specially modified for the latest BPW Ecodisc axles. With an inventory in excess of 10,000 wheels, divided between our distribution centres in Hardenberg (NL) and Bayreuth (G), we are able to assist our customer immediately.”

The steel wheels of Athlete Wheels have been TÜV tested and are ISO9001-certified. In a recent salt haze test, which was performed by Dekra Automobil GmbH in accordance with DIN EN ISO9227, the products of Athlete Wheels matched the performance of European tyres subjected to the same test, after 720 hours of exposure.

Ordered tyres can be delivered pre-mounted on Athlete wheels. If necessary, they can also be sent directly to the final customer. Wheels can be ordered per item or pallet (12 items), also via the Heuver web-shop. Each year, the factory responsible for Athlete Wheels manufactures over 10 million wheels in 500 different versions.
