MWSD appoints business and marketing coordinator
Motor Wheel Service Distribution (MWSD) has appointed Kim Blissett to the role of business and marketing coordinator, with a brief to raise the profile of the company’s key industry campaigns with customers. Reporting to managing director John Ellis, MWSD says she will be tasked with keeping truck and trailer operators abreast of the wheel safety activity in the UK and Europe, as well as promoting the company’s steel wheel Chevron branding. MWSD’s range of quality steel wheels carries a Chevron stamp, which the distributor, a campaigner for increased safety checks legislation in the commercial vehicle market, uses to assist traceability.
In addition Blissett will be responsible for organising meetings for field sales agents, ensuring all relevant product and campaign literature is available for marketing purposes, MWSD states. She has previously worked for MWSD in both marketing and database capacities prior to taking the new position on a full-time basis.
Ellis said: “Kim has already proven her worth to the company in previous roles, and the new job is not only in recognition of her excellent work to date, but her commitment to understand a very technical product and translate these messages for our customers.”
