Magna Tyres issues technical databook

Netherlands-based OTR tyre specialist Magna Tyres has released its Technical Databook 2014. This document, the first of its kind the company has released, can be downloaded from the magnatyres.com website and will be available as a hardcopy version upon request as of 1 January 2014.

The company says it produced the databook to meet increasing requests from customers and end-users for a reference guide with detailed product specifications. The databook’s release, Magna Tyres adds, is also a direct response to a point of improvement from the company’s annual customer satisfaction survey.

“Although several tyre manufacturers offer a comparable technical catalogue, Magna Tyres had the ambition to publish a unique edition,” the company reports. “The Magna Tyres Technical Databook 2014 not only includes the technical specifications of the whole Magna OTR product range, but also the specifications of Magna port handling tyres and industrial solid tyres. The catalogue also includes specific information about appropriate transport and storage of OTR tyres, technical information about rims, mounting instructions, safety instructions and other practical recommendations. There is a focus on use and maintenance of tyres for mining applications, with chapters dedicated to site management, special tread compounds and TKPH measurements.”
