TIA Welcomes 1,000 Additional Members in 2013

The Tire Industry Association has reached a membership milestone in 2013 – a first in its 93-year history – adding 1,000 members this year.

“It is great to know that we have had a record number of new members join TIA this year,” said Roy Littlefield, TIA executive vice president. “We continue to deliver value to our members through our training programs, our advocacy work, and member benefits programs. For those of you who have not yet explored membership in TIA, I encourage you to contact our membership department to learn how membership in TIA can benefit your business.”

Leipold Tire, a family-owned independent tire dealer with two locations in the Akron, Ohio, area, became the group’s 1,000 member of 2013, TIA said.
