Salvatori leaves Pirelli board
Pirelli & C. Spa has announced the resignation of Carlo Salvatori from the company’s Board of Directors. The company thanked Salvatori for his contribution, adding that he explained when resigning that it was “due to the recent increase in the number of his professional commitments.”
Carlo Salvatori joined the Pirelli board on 26 July 2012. His other duties include his position as chairman of Allianz SpA, which he has held since May 2012, and as chairman of Lazard Italia since June 2010. He is also a member of the boards of API (Anonima Petroli Italiana), Chiesi Farmaceutici and Riso Gallo.
