Transcose appointed Westlake distributor in Spain

Westlake has expanded its distribution network in Spain via an agreement with Spain’s Transcose to distribute its passenger, 4×4 and van tyre ranges in the central provinces of Avila, Soria and Segovia.

Transcose’s management declared that the decision to add Westlake to their product range came about out of a desire to increase the brand’s presence within their company. “After analysing several different brands, we quickly understood that Westlake was the best choice, given the very competitive value-for-money aspect of their products, the increased weight of the brand across Europe and its wide PCR, 4×4, SUV and van ranges”.

Speaking on behalf of Eskay Tyres, Westlake’s distributor in the UK, Spain, and several key European markets, European general manager Jorge Crespo said: “It’s a company with a lot of experience in this sector and has been able to appreciate the good quality of Westlake’s products from the start”.

Westlake’s distributor network in Spain, to which the name Transcose can be added, now comprises Nortyre (Basque Country, Navarre and Cantabria), Neuretec (Balearics), Dontyre (Central Spain, Andalusia and Extremadura), Auteide (Canary Islands) Grupo Palacios (Galicia and Asturias) and Neumáticos en la Red (Valencia, Aragón, Murcia and Andorra), as well as by Grupo Driver, authorised Spanish dealers for Westlake’s truck tyre range.
