Petlas expands TBR line

Petlas Tyres has added four sizes to its Petlas and Starmaxx brand truck and bus radial tyres. The additions are scheduled to be released by October 2013. According to the company, Petlas engineers started to develop the firm’s TBR tyre program in the first quarter of 2012. They new products are reportedly designed and produced with low rolling resistance, good fuel efficiency, durability and long life in mind.

The new tyres are the 215/75 R17.5 SZ 300 (steer axle) and RZ300 (drive) 295/80 R22.5 SH110 (steer) / RH100 (drive) products. As a second step in, the company will add 315/80R 22.5, 385/65R 22.5, 12R22.5 and 11R 22.5 tyre sizes in few months. Production capacity is expected to reach approximately 80,000 truck and bus radials per month by the end of 2014.
