Goodyear names next lobby chief

Lobbyists are par for the course in US politics, and Goodyear’s senior registered lobbyist Isabel Jasinowski will retire in February 2014. The company has named her successor as head of its Washington, D.C. office as Brian Riley.

“We thank Isabel for her substantial contribution over the last 32 years with Goodyear and wish her continued success,” said Dave Bialosky, Goodyear’s senior vice-president and General Counsel.  “Brian’s extensive experience will help ensure Goodyear’s critical issues are understood by key members of government.

Nathan Facey, previously Deputy Chief of Staff for U.S. Representative Marcy Kaptur, joins Goodyear on 1 November to fill Riley’s role. Facey brings more than ten years of experience in business and government positions with Kaptur’s office, the 3M Corporation and Carlson Brand Enterprise.  He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from American University in Washington, D.C., and an MBA in Strategy and Marketing from the University of Minnesota.
