Bilstein releases Honda NSX B6 Sport damper upgrades

Suspension manufacturer Bilstein has released an extensive range of damper upgrades for the Honda NSX. Bilstein’s range of B6 Sport units are available to fit both 3.0 and 3.2 litre 24v variants in manual, automatic, coupe and convertible guises. Noting the NSX’s collectability the company says the car’s significant mass can benefit from an improved damping set-up, making it faster through the turns and more rewarding to drive.

Bilstein says the upgrade maintains the character and comfort of the original car, but with a sharper focus on driving precision. The B6 Sport damper package is designed to help enhance the dynamic abilities of the NSX, working in harmony with either the OEM springs or any quality aftermarket offerings. Using the latest in Bilstein gas pressure technology and precision twin-tube construction, each unit is hand finished in Bilstein’s German factory. The manufacturer also says the parts offer greater service life than the standard part.

Bilstein’s B6 dampers are priced at £180 (excluding VAT), with front and rear fitments available.
