Toyo makes US appointments
On 6 September Toyo Tire & Rubber Co., Ltd. president and CEO Akira Nobuki confirmed that company has made a couple of overseas appointments to its North American operations.
First off Tomoshige Mizutani has been appointed as president of Toyo Tire Holdings of Americas Inc. He had previously been president Nitto Tire U.S.A. Inc. Mizutani will continue in the roles of corporate officer; general manager, Nitto Business Unit.
As a result of this appointment, Keiko Brockel has taken over as president of Nitto Tire U.S.A. Inc. He had previously been chief operating officer at Nitto Tire U.S.A. Inc. and remains as president of Nitto Tire Canada Inc.
According to an official statement the postings take effect on 1 October 2013.
