NTDA to sponsor Manchester’s Brityrex 2014
The National Tyre Distributors Association (NTDA) has agreed a deal with show organiser ECI International to become the major sponsor of Brityrex International 2014, continuing a long-established relationship between the two organisations. The show will return to EventCity in Manchester between 7 and 9 October. NTDA chairman Stephen Callow welcomed the deal: “The NTDA has enjoyed a close and valuable relationship with Brityrex for many years and I’m extremely pleased that we will be working constructively together with the show again next year.
“The UK tyre industry is a multi-billion pound business that deserves a showcase event where the industry can gather on both a professional and social footing. Brityrex will provide that opportunity by bringing together the latest and best our industry has to offer.”
The NTDA has confirmed that its flagship event, the Annual Dinner and TAFF Awards will take place on the middle evening of the exhibition, Wednesday 8 October 2014, at the Hilton Manchester Deansgate hotel.
For ECI International, managing director Paul Farrant, commented: “Working with the NTDA means that Brityrex is a show that understands and appreciates the needs of the industry. Their invaluable input will help to shape the content and structure of the event and we look forward to working with the NTDA team to make Brityrex 2014 an exhibition to remember.”
Established in 1979, Brityrex is the UK’s only dedicated tyre trade and equipment exhibition, and will be the focus for new products and services in the tyre and automotive aftermarket sector. While maintaining an emphasis on all aspects of the tyre industry, the show will also continue to expand its coverage of associated and complimentary trade sectors, including workshop equipment, tools, parts, consumables and IT.
Brityrex International will bring together tyre, equipment and services exhibitors and buyers from across the UK and dozens of international locations.
