Enterprise golf day raises £8,000 for BEN
Reflecting their long-term and invaluable support of BEN, the automotive industry charity, Enterprise Rent-a-Car's latest initiative, The Enterprise Golf Day raised over £8,000 – a huge sum of money for a golf competition.
Held at the prestigious Warwickshire course in August with Murley Nissan as its main sponsor, the success of the event has encouraged Enterprise to plan a repeat in 2014. “Thanks to sponsorships, a raffle and fantastic auction we are delighted to have been able to raise so much money for BEN through our new venture.” said Chris Buckley, Group Development & Training Manager. “Well done to the Autosmart team, our overall winners and all those who picked up individual honours. I look forward to welcoming everyone back next year.”
Kirsten Galvin, BEN’s Marketing Manager, said: “We are fortunate to be able to number Enterprise Rent-a-Car amongst our closest supporting partners in the automotive industry. The impact of donations such as this from their Golf Day, in addition to other activities they undertake and the corporate volunteer days they commit to, enable us to maintain the high levels of support we are able to provide our industry colleagues in times of need and to ensure BEN stays at the forefront of the minds of their staff in case they need our support in the future.”
