Cooper boosts Rally Day presence, with new off-road experience

Cooper Tire Europe has announced a new feature to its presence at the 2013 Rally Day event. The company’s 4×4 zone will offer visitors the chance to ride in one of DriveTech’s 4×4 machines, which swaps speed for sheer inclines and drops, mud, water and more as the Cooper rubber is put through its paces in a demanding off-road course.

Also present in the 4×4 Zone throughout the day will be two-time Dakar Rally Production Class Champion, Xavi Foj, who ran Cooper Discoverer S/T MAXX rubber en route to Dakar glory. The Spaniard will be on-hand to speak with guests and share stories from his adventures.

The tyre manufacturer, seeking to consolidate a leading 4×4 tyre market position, last year agreed a three-year partnership with the event, run annually at Castle Combe circuit in Wiltshire. This year’s Rally Day event will be held on Saturday, 21 September.
