Bosch recommends MAM CarSide app
MAM Software has announced that Bosch UK is recommending MAM CarSide to its network of Bosch Car Service Centres. The new vehicle health check (eVHC) mobile app will sync with BCS Online, the Bosch recommended garage management system powered by MAM Software. Hosted in the cloud, BCS Online is a feature-rich browser-based garage management system that manages and optimises every-day workshop tasks.
MAM’s CarSide app provides an electronic alternative to Bosch’s existing paper-based vehicle health check. It also provides sales opportunities by identifying vehicle damage, plus future sales opportunities by being able to schedule text and email reminders.
“Bosch UK has embraced CarSide as a more efficient method for our service centres to perform vehicle health checks,” said Howard Price, Workshop Concepts Manager at Bosch UK. “Data from the app will transfer directly into BCS Online, eliminating the need to manually input information. It also provides sales opportunities by identifying vehicle damage and repairs.”
With a focus on upselling, CarSide can help businesses generate revenue by identifying and reporting on required work, then transferring these task lists to BCS Online. It also has the ability to schedule SMS and email reminders to send out at appropriate times.
“CarSide will protect revenue by storing records and pictures of any vehicle damages,” Howard Price continued. “More importantly, it allows our garages to undertake remedial work immediately to generate revenue and provide future sales opportunities by allowing us to schedule reminders.”
“MAM CarSide, the first in a series of apps MAM Software are developing, demonstrates our continued commitment to the investment and development of our products.” Explains Mike Jamieson, CEO of MAM Software Group. “I’m delighted that Bosch UK have recognised the wide range of benefits that MAM CarSide can provide. It’s implementation into BCS Online will offer Bosch Car Service Centres additional opportunities to improve efficiency and productivity.”
