Hofmann Power Weight releases new black HPW 161 knock-on weight

Hofmann Power Weight has released a new black coloured knock-on weight 161. The company says the weight is a tried and tested top-seller, but the new addition of black powder coating means the zinc weight appears almost invisible when fitted. It adds that the weight’s “premium coating” gives the weight “optimum corrosion resistance”.

The black premium coating offers garages the advantage of a simple distinction of weights for aluminum or steel rims: black weights for black steel rims and silver weights for alloy rims. “We expect that our black knock-on weights will set a new standard in the balancing of steel rims. Therefore, we offer the black version of our top seller at no additional charge,” explains Thorsten Thom, managing director at Wegmann automotive.

The weights will be available from September 2013 as part of the extensive Hofmann Power Weight range.
