GEA raises thousands at annual BEN golf day
This year’s GEA gold day was staged at Whittlebury Park near Silverstone and with 18 teams was one of the best supported in recent years. According to the Garage Equipment Association, the event was all about raising cash for the motor trade charity BEN and this year’s profits were £2,927, which all goes to the charity.
Kennet Leasing’s team had an incredible day with the best individual trophy going to Stefan Bullworthy. Premier Diagnostics won the sought after GEA Rose Bowl and the NTDA took the BEN Cup. Philip Rosier of the Premier Diagnostics team achieved the longest drive and Nick Clarke of Thermobile was nearest to the pin. The MAHA challenge was won by Calibration & Repair Services and the Premier Handicap by Phil Moulson of Rotary Lift.
