Bridgestone continues show schedule at Warwickshire’s Game Fair
Bridgestone has taken its inflatable exhibition stand to the Warwickshire countryside for three days, where 129,000 visited Ragley Hall, Alcester to see around 900 exhibits at the CLA Game Fair Show. Featuring farming, shooting, fishing, archery and craft stands, the manufacturer says it presented a good opportunity to show off its tyres, including motorcycle, passenger car, all-weather and 4×4 ranges.
Bridgestone’s communications manager Andy Dingley said: “It was extremely beneficial to boast a presence at the CLA Game Fair Show, for many reasons. We were able to advise hundreds of people about the right tyres for their vehicles, many of which required specialist knowledge and bespoke tyre solutions. It was rewarding to be able to assist so many people and leave a lasting impression of the Bridgestone brand on them.”
Bridgestone’s stand housed a Silverstone racing simulator game and competition information. Outside, a broad spectrum of tyres were also on show, while Bridgestone believes its Facebook ‘Like’ incentive was particularly successful – anyone ‘liking’ its official page on the social network was entered into the manufacturer’s competition to win a host of ‘money-can’t-buy’ race prizes. In total, more than 400 people liked the Bridgestone UK page – leaving Bridgestone please with what it described as a “measurable success for the brand”.
Dingley added: “Our social networking element worked well, with our new followers representing the ideal online audience for us to be engaging with. Overall, our decision to exhibit at the CLA Game Fair Show was the right one in a number of ways. Hopefully, we’ll continue to reap the rewards over the coming weeks and months, when more and more people consider Bridgestone when purchasing their next set of tyres.”
