Bridgestone Americas appoints new head of communications
Effective 22 July, Bridgestone Americas will have a new head of communications. Paul Oakley takes on the role of vice-president, communications, and in this capacity will lead Bridgestone’s communications strategy across the Americas.

Oakley’s background in managing corporate and marketing communications includes his most recent position as a director of global communications and regional public and government affairs at The Dow Chemical Company. During more than 12 years at Dow, he led teams and various employee, marketing, crisis and community communications programs in support of a wide variety of businesses based in Philadelphia, Sao Paulo, Zurich and Houston. Prior to his tenure with Dow, Oakley served as account director with Corporate Technology Communications in Chicago and also worked in various business-to-business account roles with Gibbs and Soell Business Communications in Chicago.
