Aeolus gives Tuscany GreenACE demonstration

Aeolus recently invited its distributors to spend a weekend in Tuscany at a demonstration event presented in partnership with Italian importer Intergomma.

“We want to give our customers a hands-on opportunity to experience the performance promise of our car tyres and above all, to try them out for themselves,” explained Thomas Wohlgemuth, general manager Western Europe. “Our programme has attracted strong interest from our distributors. To date, they have had excellent experiences with our truck and EM products and now they want to find out exactly if these experiences can also be transferred to the Aeolus CAR tyre range.”

40 guests accepted the invitation. The Aeolus team prepared a two-day programme with help from the Intergomma team. These guests had the chance to try out the Aeolus GreenACE for the first time. Both intergomma and Aeolus gave presentations prior to the tour. 

“The result of these two days has exceeded our expectations and we are more than satisfied,” said Thomas Wohlgemuth. “I am convinced that our DRIVE SMARTER programme – of which this event is an integral part – has had a positive effect on the products but most importantly on the AEOLUS brand.” It was also noted that all tyres were easy to fit and balance. After all, 100 GreenACE tyres had to be fitted to the fleet of FIAT 500 cars.
