Interstate All Terrain tyre to make debut at Latin American Tyre Expo

Interstate has announced that it will launch a new all-terrain tyre for the US market at the Latin American & Caribbean Tyre Expo – the first A/T American exclusive in the Benelux-based distributor’s range. The Interstate Tracer A/T will be available immediately following its preview at the Interstate dealer meeting just before the Panama expo, which takes place on 24-27 July. The tyre will be available in 10 LT/SUV fitments, with three-ply tread and/or three-ply sidewall construction in select sizes.

The Interstate Tracer A/T is “exceptionally sturdy and it’s built to last – even in severe conditions,” according to Theo de Vries, vice president of Interstate Tire & Rubber Co. “And dealers who have a history with our Sport SUV G/T offerings will find the Tracer A/T an excellent addition to the line-up and a great value to offer their customers.”

The heavy-duty construction of the Interstate Tracer A/T is designed to provide puncture and impact resistance for work trucks in agricultural, construction and mining industries, as well as trucks dedicated to recreational use where heavy wilderness trekking is involved. 

According to the company, the new Tracer A/T features a wide footprint that for uniform wear and stability; a tough tread compound for all-surface performance, a three-ply sidewall construction to protect sidewalls; and a low-void shoulder for more contact. The sidewall is available in “black sidewall” and in “open white letters”.
