Heuver expands earthmover team

As part of Heuver Tyrewholesale’s plan to create country-specific sales teams, the Netherlands-based wholesaler has hired Marjolein Dangremond as sales representative for its earthmover tyres business. Dangremond began in her new role on 1 April and will be the ‘right hand woman’ of manager Bert van ´t Holt. Her focus will be on international markets, particularly French-speaking ones.

“To further enhance our objective of creating effective customer focus and country-specific teams, we were looking for an enthusiastic person with a wide range of language skills,” states Bertus Heuver, director of Heuver Tyrewholesale. “Marjolein offers an active knowledge of German and English and is perfectly fluent in French. From the head office, she offers support to Heuver account managers who are based in other countries. And she is making a great success of it, too. Thanks to her arrival, we can give our customers even more attention than they were accustomed too.”

Dangremond studied International Business & Languages at the University of Twente in Enschede and International Communication at Radboud University in Nijmegen, and has worked for companies like Euro Disney, Eurodesk and ABN Amro since completing her studies. “The need for fluency in French was what attracted me to the vacancy,” she comments. “Heuver is an international company and I think my background and studies will stand me in good stead. I have already noticed this in my daily activities and see it as a great opportunity for personal development. Hopefully, I will be able to develop further in the coming years, so my next step can also have an external aspect. I have seen many signs that confirm Heuver’s commitment to offering its employees ample opportunities for personal development.”
