ESCO Ringmaster addresses O-ring issues
According to sources at Bridgestone Commercial Solutions, 78 per cent of all off-highway tyres and wheels are in the 25 to 29-inch size range. An important and difficult process in the servicing of these large-sized wheels is the removal and installation of the O-ring.
ESCO – short for Equipment Supply Company – has introduced a product it says solves the problem of installing O-rings when changing these sizes of tyre. Called the Ringmaster O-ring Installation/Removal Tool, the item is designed to be lightweight and easy for the tyre technician to operate.
The manually operated hand tool is attached to the multi-piece rim/wheel and permits the tyre technician to push and hold the front rim flange and bead of the tyre back, to remove and install the O-ring onto the rim. The tool is adjustable and can work on all OTR/EM tyres and wheels up to 30-inches in diameter. It also eliminates the danger of pushing heavy equipment off the lifting jack if a tyre crane is being used to push the flange and bead back.
ESCO is a world leader in manufacturing quality specialised tyre tools and equipment for the changing of heavy duty truck, agricultural, & OTR/EM tyres/wheels. ESCO has been in business for over 28 years and its products are sold all over the world.
