Two-thirds of Pneu Expo exhibitors returning next year
The organiser of last month’s Pneu Expo in France reports that 100 exhibitors from 17 countries displayed their wares at the three-day show. Exhibitor numbers were thus similar to the previous show, and organiser Editions VB says two thirds of the 2013 exhibitors have signed up for the next event.
Bad weather is blamed for a ten per cent fall in visitor numbers. Heavy snowfalls on the exhibition’s first day led to flights and trains across France and Northwest Europe being cancelled, while numerous motorways were closed. Nevertheless, a total of 2,660 visitors attended Pneu Expo, 20 per cent of whom came from outside of France, mostly from Italy, Belgium, Germany and Spain.
