Tructyre rolls out e-Tablet technology
Tructyre Fleet Management is rolling out a new e-Tablet solution from CAM Systems to 80 plus mobile fitters in April and May. The application will enable the truck tyre service specialist to track commercial transactions effectively from initial capture to invoicing. The e-Tablet application, provided and managed by TrackItNow, supports HTML5, making it compatible with Android, iOS and Windows Mobile operating systems for tablet devices.
TrackItNow is working with CAM Systems to also offer a premium live GPS vehicle tracking system that integrates with UniserV via a unique plugin providing “nearest vehicle to job” and “job status” for in field resource allocation as an additional service option.
The e-Tablet will integrate into CAM’s UniSerV application suite; specifically in conjunction with Call Logging (for job allocation), Document Manager (for job processing) and Integrated Casing Management (for asset tracking), which then links seamlessly into CAM’s Cameo platform for systemised updating of stock and near real-time invoicing, making commercial functions speedier, more robust, less costly to process and, ultimately, easier and cheaper to manage.
Anne Sherwood, business support manager at Tructyre Fleet Management, explains, “We are looking forward to transitioning our business from “doing paperwork” within the business to “auditing paperwork” within the business by driving fitter “best practice” off of the e-Tablet. The e-Tablet solution will replace the e-pen application we have previously been using to provide us with near real-time transactional data from the field.”
