Scotland Ball raises £8k for BEN
The 15th BEN Scotland Ball, held recently, enjoyed an increase in attendance and raised an impressive £8,000 for the automotive charity.
The list of attendees represented a great cross-section of the industry. Manufacturers, dealerships, finance houses, media and aftermarket were all represented and showed the fantastic support given to BEN in Scotland.
Douglas Robertson, CEO of the Scottish Motor Trades Association (SMTA) commented; “Once again the Crowne Plaza provided the setting for some fine food, lively dancing and, most importantly, spending money on the live and silent auctions. I am delighted with the total raised and, on behalf of BEN and the SMTA, would like to thank all those who attended and contributed to the evening’s enjoyment.
“The importance of occasions like the BEN Scotland Ball and the generosity of everyone involved can never be underestimated. It is only through raising these considerable sums of money that we can continue to offer care and advice to thousands of our industry colleagues in times of need year after year,” said Kelly Neal, BEN’s Exhibitions and Events Manager.
