Kwik-Fit overhauls fleet card offer
Kwik-Fit Fleet has launched a new card aimed at SME sector light commercial and car fleets. Called Kwik-Fit Drive, the card replaces the Kwik-Fit Business Drive Card and can be used to purchase fuel and obtain vehicle breakdown and recovery, while it also provides fleets access to a range of Kwik-Fit services at competitive prices. Kwik-Fit Drive will be officially launched in June.
Benefits Kwik-Fit Drive offer include: No card fee, no network service charge, a single monthly invoice for all card purchases, up to 45 days free credit, an online management tool to aid SMEs in recording and storing vehicle-related information, and an online authorisation process.
“Historically fleet managers and company accountants have been weighed down under the weight of invoices from a variety of suppliers detailing the services various drivers have received,” commented Kwik-Fit fleet director Peter Lambert. “But, with Kwik-Fit Drive, a single monthly invoice details all transactions undertaken by company vehicle drivers wherever and whatever has been bought using the card.
“Our new card eases the administration burden for SMEs and in addition to accessing Kwik-Fit”s range of services we are enabling businesses to cut their fuel bills by directing drivers to supermarket outlets where traditionally petrol and diesel is several pence cheaper per litre than at branded fuel outlets,” added Lambert. “Fuel cards are recognised as a major cost control and administration benefit for businesses. Kwik-Fit Drive offers the same benefit along with the ability to make a range of other purchases, but also the opportunity for SMEs to save money noticeably by directing drivers to fill up at supermarket forecourts.”
