Further CMA sites to join new warehouse
Groundbreaking on the new distribution centre to be erected by the US marketer of the Double Coin brand, China Manufacturers Alliance (CMA), will take place one week from today, the company reports. A ceremony to mark the occasion will be held at the site in Rancho Cucamonga, California on 25 April. The company also says it intends to build further warehouse facilities, both within the US and internationally.
The new facility will occupy over 129,000 square feet (12,000 square metres) of under roof storage and its design includes dock-high and grade level bay doors with stalls for parking additional trailers. To achieve a lower carbon footprint, natural lighting and exhaust systems are integrated into the building’s design. CMA estimates the Rancho Cucamonga facility will be completed by this November.
“Rancho Cucamonga is an ideal and strategic location to support our expanding distribution needs,” said CMA vice-president Aaron C. Murphy. “The city of Rancho Cucamonga and the developers of the new Phelan Center have collaborated to make sure all our functional requirements have been addressed. This will be our second location in North America and we have plans to expand in the near future, building additional warehouse locations inside and outside of the United States.”
In addition to marketing Double Coin, CMA distributes the Warrior, Dynatrail, Dynacargo, Dynastar, Bluestar and Superhawk brands. The company is headquartered in Monrovia, California.
