Bohnenkamp names German sales manager
Agricultural tyre wholesaler Bohnenkamp has appointed Thomas Pott its new general sales manager for the German market. Pott has worked for the Osnabrück, Germany-based company for almost 30 years; Bohnenkamp says he possesses “extensive experience in the company and a deep knowledge of the tyre industry.” In his new function he will be supported by Karsten Krückeberg, sales manager Tyre Business, and Heiko Holthaus, sales manager Replacement Business Agricultural Equipment.
Michael Rieken, from Bohnenkamp’s Management Board, is pleased the company could find the right person amongst Bohnenkamp’s own ranks: “We are very happy with this solution. By filling the position with Thomas Pott, our customers and partners benefit from a high continuity and level of professionalism in the business. Thomas Pott has been part of the industry and our company for many years. Together with Karsten Krückeberg and Heiko Holthaus he runs a professional team that is able to draw on vast know-how and that constantly finds new inspiration and motivation.”
Pott has learnt his job from the bottom up, having started at Bohnenkamp in 1983 in telesales. He held the position of sales manager for more than ten years and in this capacity was responsible for the OEM sector. This role has now been extended to cover general sales.
