Apec adds 13 new brake pads
UK brake supplier Apec has expanded its product range with the addition of 13 new brake pads, continuing the expansion of what the company says is Europe's largest range of direct replacement braking items, which now stands at over 1,400 brake pads, and over 6,000 braking products.
Highlights of the new Apec line-up include brake pads for the hugely popular and very latest BMW Three Series (F30), the all conquering Ford Focus III, the once new kid on the block Nissan Leaf, the bold Hyundai i40 and the state-of-the-art Peugeot Ion Electric; as ever all pads will match manufacturers’ levels of performance, comfort and safety, at significantly less than OEM prices.
According to the company, advanced processes and production technology ensures all Apec brake pads are made from the latest generation friction materials featuring no heavy compounds and are manufactured using a unique High Pressure Treatment (HPT) scorching process (10,000 Nm pressure at 650ºC).
Using advanced robotics, all Apec brake pads are precision-made in Europe. The in-house manufacturing process includes the friction material, back plate and shims, ensuring consistent high quality. All Apec brake pads are sold with a 1-year guarantee or, in complete axle sets including discs, an outstanding 2-year or 24,000-mile guarantee.
Apec’s entire extended range is in stock and available to order immediately.
