Three SIMA debutants from ATG
At last week’s SIMA show in Paris, Alliance Tire Group launched three new patterns; the tyre maker says all three utilise state of the art IF and VF technologies, designed at the group’s research and development testing. ATG says its IF and VF products have undergone “comprehensive lab and field testing” and the range will be completed in the coming future.
The first of the three products introduced at SIMA is the IF Row Crop 550 Multiuse self-propelled sprayer tyre in size 380/90R46. ATG says the tyre is intended for high-speed on-road applications operating between farms as well as for optimal performance in the field. “This new and unique pattern is the first of its kind in the industry and represents the vision of modern agriculture methodology,” commented ATG.
Also new at SIMA was the Agriflex 354 Row Crop sprayer and row crop tractor size in size IF 480/80R50 and the IF 800/70R38 CFO with Agriflex 372 VF 600/70R28 combine harvester tyre. ATG says this last tyre is “designed to operate at higher load capacity and by keeping width restrictions imposed on tyres as per ETRTO.”
Explaining the IF and VF in greater detail, ATG says the tyres “offer the superior benefit of working with higher tyre deflection providing up to 20 per cent to 40 per cent higher load capacity for the same inflation pressure as compared to a standard radial tyre. These tyres can operate on low air pressure and also provides benefit of low soil compaction.”
