MAC Tools raises £4,100 for BEN
Celebrating their 75th anniversary, staff at MAC Tools, the automotive division of Stanley Black & Decker, raised an impressive £4,100 through an auction in aid of BEN, the automotive industry charity. Tony Prueitt, UK Commercial Director of the Industrial & Automotive Division, invited Peter Cottle, BEN's Head of Business Development, to outline the charity's role for all franchisees attending their annual conference. Peter ensured everyone understood the breadth of support available to anyone who works, or has worked, in all automotive and related industries, as well as their dependents.
“Looking for something appropriate to celebrate 75 years in the industry MAC Tools has decided to support their own industry charity via a series of events and initiatives throughout the year.” said Tony Prueitt. “Supporting the charity that supports our colleagues, our customers and their families will definitely be very rewarding for all concerned.”
MAC Tools are hoping that all franchisees and their customers will get on board to increase awareness of BEN and, in raising funds, ensure that help will be there for all those involved in the business who are facing hardship and distress.
Peter Cottle commented, “Many thanks to all those at MAC for giving us time at their conference to introduce ourselves and for their generosity during the auction. We look forward to working with MAC Tools and their business partners throughout the coming year.”
