Bridgestone Europe launches new consumer tyres website
Along with new series and concept tyres, at the Geneva motor show Bridgestone Europe has launched its new website for car, SUV, 4×4 and van drivers. The company says the site aims to give drivers a “fresh, attractive, user-friendly and engaging experience” and offers a number of different ways of finding the right Bridgestone tyres for a vehicle, regardless of whether a driver already knows exactly which tyre they’re looking for or would like additional guidance from Bridgestone to find a suitable product. The site is currently only available in English, however French, German, Italian and Spanish versions will follow in April, with others to arrive in the coming months.
Prior to creating the new website, Bridgestone carried out consumer research in several regions to better understand the needs of drivers and the way in which they would like Bridgestone to communicate with them online. With this research in mind, the website is arranged into two main regions: ‘tyres’ and ‘your journey’.
The first caters to the preferences of different types of customer and provides different ways to find the best tyres for a vehicle and inform about the strengths of each different tyre range and product. With the ‘your journey’ region, Bridgestone intends to “show our passion for each driver’s “journey”, wherever it takes them, with ideas and tips for both their daily motoring and their future trips and travel plans. In all parts of the site, Bridgestone’s dealer locator is readily available to guide visitors to a local sales outlet.
“Bridgestone’s global tagline “Your Journey, Our Passion” is at the centre of all of our activities and our new website is driven by that philosophy – taking an innovative approach to support the lives of our customers, with relevant, informative product information and appealing content to enhance their overall driving experience, whether sharing ideas for trips or helping them to be safer on the roads” said Jake Rønsholt, general manager Corporate and Brand Communications, Bridgestone Europe.
The Bridgestone Passenger Tyres website is the second collaboration between Bridgestone Europe, UK-based digital communications agency Amaze, and Belgium-based ICT group Cegeka. The site can be seen at auto.bridgestone.eu.
