Toyo management changes scheduled for 28 March

Japanese manufacturer Toyo Tire & Rubber state that the appointment of Kenji Nakakura’s appointment as its new chairman and representative director and Akira Nobuki’s appointment as president, CEO and representative director will take effect on 28 March 2013. On that same date, numerous other personnel changes will occur; including those listed below.

Koichi Ono will take over from Takuji Yamamoto as general manager of Toyo’s Tire R&D Division and current Sendai plant manager Shinji Tanabe will commence in the role of general manager of the company’s Tire Production Division. Tanabe will replace Kazuyuki Ito, who will become general manager of Toyo’s Technology Management Center, succeeding Susumu Nishihata, who takes on the role of advisor. Takuji Yamamoto will become a company director and senior corporate officer – also on 28 March.
