Million-milestone for Michelin retreading franchise
US-based Michelin Retread Technologies (MRT) retreader Allied Oil & Tire Company has reached the million-mark. The company, which is located in Omaha, Nebraska, opened the doors of its MRT plant in 1998, and upon celebrating the retreading of its one millionth commercial vehicle tyre plant manager Don Roberts commented that “this milestone speaks volumes about our commitment to customer satisfaction and producing industry-leading retreads.”
“We’d like to thank all of our customers for their continued support of Allied and the MRT process,” added Mark St. Aubin, Allied Oil & Tire’s tyre product line vice-president.
Besides being the oldest independently-owned MRT dealer in the United States, Allied is the only hybrid plant in the Midwest, producing both mould cure and pre-cure retreads.
“Michelin has been an excellent partner of Allied Oil & Tire Company with the highest quality retreads in the industry,” said Allied president Steve Phillips. “Their guidance, technology and support has moved Allied from a basic provider of a standard retread to one with the highest quality in the nation.”
