New name for motorcycle trade association
National Motorcycle Dealer Association is the new name for RMI motorcycle division, the trade association representing motorcycle dealers across the UK. Director Sue Robinson commented: "The UK motorcycle industry is evolving and modern motorcycle dealer's needs are changing. In an industry that has been hit hard by the recession it is more important than ever to have the support and guidance of a reputable trade body.
“In the past few years we have introduced new initiatives and have had key successes with schemes such as the motorcycle ‘Dealer Attitude Survey’, a well respected survey that allows all dealers to anonymously pass on their views about the industry and the manufacturers they represent.
Going forward NMDA aims to not only build on these successes but to develop new programmes that will benefit all its members. Robinson concluded: “In 2013 NMDA will launch its Customer Profile Package, a vital new tool aimed at enabling members to direct their sales and marketing efforts in a more precise cost-effective manner. NMDA will also continue to liaise with Government to ensure motorcycling forms part of the Government’s main stream transport policy.
“The NMDA remain committed to being the leading motorcycle dealer association in the UK. Dealers need a collective voice and the support of a growing trade association to represent their views. The NMDA is that voice.”
