Maxxis highlights motorsport involvement at Autosport
Maxxis returns to the Autosport International show (10-13 January, 2013) where it will not only be showing off its latest products, but will also be highlighting the brand’s motorsport links – not least with a drifting demonstration by Team Japspeed, winners of the constructor’s title in the 2012 Maxxis British Drift Championship.
Maxxis will be showcasing its high performance, 4×4, van and motorcycle tyres and is using motorsport as the central theme for its stand, which will incorporate exciting car and bike displays, including a Polaris racing quad bike, Maxxis-sponsored Tim Coronel’s 4×4 buggy from the Dakar Rally, a vehicle from the King of the Valleys 4×4 endurance event and the new look Team Japspeed drift cars.
The drift outfit will take the wraps off the exciting new car that Paul ‘Smokey’ Smith – reigning Maxxis British Drift Champion in the hotly contested Super Pro class – will campaign in 2013, and unveil the new liveries its vehicles will sport next season. Autosport visitors will be able to get up close to the cars and catch up with Team Japspeed’s driver quartet, including former Boyzone member Shane Lynch.
The Maxxis stand will also feature a dealer zone dedicated to distribution, where trade visitors will be able to find out more about Maxxis products, the profit opportunities associated with the brand and the company’s successful relationships with Stapleton’s Tyre Services, the exclusive distributor of Maxxis passenger car, van and 4×4 tyres in the UK, and Tyrecall, Maxxis distributor for Northern Ireland.
Maxxis calendars will be on sale to the general public for the first time at Autosport International, while show visitors will no doubt seize the chance to catch up with the ever-popular Maxxis Babes, whose army of followers grows bigger year on year, and get their hands on the Babes’ own 2013 calendar, which is sure to be a sell-out.
