Bodyshop association chair steps down
The first National Association of Bodyshops (NAB) Executive of 2013 was held recently, hosted by new Head, Frank Harvey. During the meeting Julie Eley announced to the Executive Committee that, due to business commitments, she would not be able to stand for re-election in April and therefore will be stepping down as Chair of NAB Executive Committee, with effect of 31st March 2013.
Commenting on her resignation, Eley said “I have been in post almost 12 months and I have been fortunate to be involved in a lot of background operations which Repairers don’t often see. Frank has now picked up the mantel and he will be able to continue the work that has been started.
“I wish Frank and NAB well for the future. I hope to be involved in the NAB in some shape or form in the future.” Frank Harvey, Head of the NAB, said, “I am sad to be losing Julie as Chair, I have seen the work she has done prior to my joining NAB and was very much looking forwards to working with Julie and to her support and guidance.
“Moving forward, I have confidence that we will continue Julie’s good work and that NAB will continue to serve the needs of its members both in the public and political arenas.”
