Avon 3D Ultra now covered by warranty scheme

Avon Tyres has added several versions of the 3D Ultra motorcycle tyre range to its Road Hazard Warranty. This means that, in certain instances, should a 3D Ultra tyre become unserviceable as a result of what Avon considers “qualified tyre damage”, such as through a puncture, a replacement will be offered at no charge.

“No other motorcycle tyre manufacturer offers such a scheme,” comments Avon in a press statement. “With Avon’s Road Hazard Warranty, bikers are eligible for a replacement tyre as long as the claim is made during the first 1mm of the tyre’s life and a certificate of fitment has been filled in by a valid and recognised Avon dealership.”

The 3D Ultra road-going range includes the 3D Ultra Sport and the 3D Ultra Supersport tyres. The 3D Ultra Sport is targeted at on-road use while the 3D Ultra Supersport more oriented towards bikers who also ride their bike on trackdays. The 3D Ultra Xtreme, as a dedicated track tyre, is not covered by the scheme.
