US farmers receive TLC

Those active in the US agricultural sector will benefit from a little TLC from Trelleborg. TLC – short for Trelleborg Load Calculator – is a new app for tablets, smartphones and computers. Trelleborg says the app, which is specifically adapted to meet the needs of the US market, has been developed to precisely calculate a tractor’s load per axle in order to determine the optimal tyre pressure for specific operating conditions.

TLC is the first app Trelleborg has developed for the agricultural sector and the tyre maker says it was designed to be a “smart and user-friendly tool to provide farming professionals with higher productivity and efficiency driven by the appropriate usage of inflation pressure for any application and machine configuration.” Within a few seconds of accessing the app, users can determine the best balance between load and inflation pressure for a specific farming operation. Trelleborg says TLC will thus aid in making the most of an agricultural tyre and maximising productivity.

“This tool was designed by Trelleborg to address the needs of modern farming,” says Andrea Masella, marketing manager Trelleborg Agri and Forestry tyres in North America. “Thanks to the TLC, farmers, contractors, as well as specialised tyre and equipment dealers will be able to precisely calculate the tractor’s load per axle for any machine configuration.”
