KRT profiling Taurus at LAMMA 2013
Kings Road Tyres (KRT) has announced that it will open its 2013 programme of trade show and exhibition appearances at the two-day LAMMA show in Newark, Nottingham, on 16 and 17 January.
The company reports that its focus at the popular event, visited by nearly 40,000 farmers and machinery specialists in 2012, will be to increase brand awareness for its Taurus Agricultural range, particularly the new 650/65R42 Taurus Point 65 tractor rear tyre.
“As a member of the Michelin group, Taurus is already a well-known brand in farming circles but it is always important for us to attend shows like LAMMA to support our customers and demonstrate the investment that is being made in popular new sizes,” says Tim Bader, KRT’s purchasing and marketing manager.
Two additional patterns will join the Taurus range in 2013, with the 540/65R28 and 540/65R30 Point 65 tyres due to come on stream by mid-2013
KRT is a leading distributor of agricultural and industrial tyres and in addition to Taurus is the exclusive distributor for Bridgestone, Farmking, Jetire and Wanda. They are also official wholesale partners for Michelin, Goodyear, Trelleborg, Kleber and Firestone, and the recently introduced Linglong range of tractor radials.
Completing the offer is KRT’s Kingstone private brand of tyres and tubes for construction, OTR and industrial applications, produced in Europe and Asia. ersee strategies for sales, product development and all elements of the marketing mix. All departments, including sales, price management, marketing and product planning/technical services will report directly to Bromfield.
