DriveRight fitment finder aids targeted marketing
Independent tyre and wheel fitment data provider DriveRight has added a new product to its range. The ‘Tyre Fitment Finder’ is designed to help tyre distributors and manufacturers ensure their advertising and marketing is targeted at the right customers.
The Tyre Fitment Finder draws on a database of 37,500 individual vehicle fitments and was created with the objective of providing tyre distributors with a method to find the applicable vehicles that fit a specific tyre by inputting tyre size, and optional load and speed values. “This function is a very powerful tool allowing a user to proactively target specific vehicle owners with a list of tyres suitable for their vehicle,” commented DriveRight’s European sales manager, Jeremy Wood. “The application will provide some focused direction for retailers wanting to reduce redundant or inflated inventory levels. The user only needs to identify a range of tyres they wish to actively market and input this into the TyreFit V3.0 search engine to return a list of vehicles that will fit the tyre.
“Outlets who keep client details on record can promote the product to very specific target audiences,” Wood continued. “In today’s economic climate retailers are considering ways of more effective advertising by targeting segmented customer groups, and this new product does exactly that. The Tyre Fitment Finder is very versatile; already we are getting positive feedback from clients using it in business to business dealings with distributors offering stock surpluses to retailers via e-mail marketing.”
The company has also developed an API to deliver the same information and allow a distributor to incorporate into their own software for point of sale use. DriveRight says this offers a comprehensive range of flexible web solutions, designed to suit any business, regardless of size or technical status on a subscription or pay per click basis.
