Boto brand favourably received by Bandvulc key partners
As announced at this year’s Brityrex, Bandvulc has added the Boto brand to its wholesale commercial tyre range. The company has now released a statement confirming the brand’s introduction, and in it Bandvulc writes that Boto has invested “over £250 million in people, technology and buildings to produce an annual production capacity of over 3.6 million Boto radial truck and bus tyres.”
Bandvulc concedes that the brand is at present “relatively unknown within the UK,” however it notes that Boto is “recognised as a worldwide new tyre brand with a good reputation in countries such as South Africa and Australia, particularly for its rugged off-road tyres.” The Boto range fits well within the Bandvulc product range as a budget new tyre to complement its premium and mid-range tyre portfolio, the company adds.
“Following in-depth research and testing Bandvulc is already seeing strong demand; sales of Boto have more than trebled in FY2012 with performance in 2013 expected to continue growing as customers take advantage of the competitive edge on offer,” says Bandvulc. The range was first presented in partnership with Bandvulc at October’s Brityrex show in Manchester, and the range was also recently introduced to Bandvulc’s Key Partner Network; Bandvulc reports it received “favourable feedback.”
“Unlike many Chinese tyres produced by third-party manufacturers, Boto tyres are manufactured in their own factory which ensures consistent quality and performance,” continues the Bandvulc statement. “Boto tyres adhere to the new tyre labelling legislation and are certified as REACH compliant.”
