ATS Euromaster obtains updated ISO 9001 accreditation
Following a three-year independent audit, ATS Euromaster has been granted ISO 9001: 2008 status. Obtaining the quality management systems accreditation involved an audit by Lloyds Register Quality Assurance (LRQA) on more than 100 ATS Euromaster outlets and across the company’s head office. The fast fit company says the audit “evaluated everything from senior management strategy planning to implementation of the plans in centres and head office departments.” It also assessed the subsequent impact on a cross-section of customers.
“Securing this accreditation is a fantastic achievement for the business and recognises our commitment to quality and continuous improvement,” shared ATS Euromaster group managing director Ian Stuart. “The process saw us examine and challenge every aspect of our business, involving members of our team at all levels within the company. It helped to drive continual changes and improvements, both in what we do and how we do it.”
The company previously held ISO 9001: 2000 accreditation. ATS Euromaster says maintaining ISO 9001 status is of key importance, as many of its largest public sector and private sector fleets view it as a pre-requisite for being a supplier, or being eligible to tender for new business. “Achieving re-certification to ISO 9001 is not a case of simply maintaining previous high standards; the auditors must see tangible proof that you are continually improving,” Stuart added. “It’s also recognition that we are delivering on our core values of being easy to do business with and providing consistently high levels of customer service.”
