Westlake hosts Viking dealer trip to Dubai

Viking Wholesale Tyres and Equipment, part of the Axle Group and the UK distributor for Westlake Tyres, recently hosted an annual Viking Dealer Division Trip to Dubai.

The October visit saw several of Viking’s leading dealer group customers including Lookers Audi Group Scotland, Taggarts Motor Group, Park’s Motor Group and the John Martin Group in attendance. Tony Neill, Axle Group CEO, joined Surender Kandhari, chairman of the Al Dobowi Group, at the impressive Emirates Golf Course, and later the group experienced a 4×4 desert adventure and a traditional Arabian dinner – entertained by what was described as some “very talented belly dancing.”

Jorge Crespo, European general manager for Eskay Tyres, which distributes Westlake tyres in most central and Western European countries commented: “Viking is proving a real asset for Westlake in the UK. We were delighted to enhance the group’s visit to Dubai as a small thank you for their great efforts and we look forward to hosting them again in the near future”.
