In the March 2012 issue of Tyres & Accessories we put international wholesalers under the spotlight, and in October we broadened the beam to cover the sector as a whole.
E-commerce
Online tyre retailers have been insulated by much of the problems facing the European industry in recent years and have enjoyed solid growth. But can they maintain this? The most recent results from Delticom, the region’s largest online operator, suggest that assumptions of perennial growth can’t be made; analysts opined that Delticom’s news “only highlights the weakness currently in the European tyre market.”
