Snap-on introduces dimple rollers for Sun brake range

Snap-on Diagnostics is now producing all of the brake testers in its extensive Sun range with a new dimple roller. The Sun range of roller brake testers cover both car and light commercial vehicles, with the car chassis taking vehicles up to 3000kg in weight (800Kgf brake force) and the light commercial taking vehicles up to 6000KG in weight (1200Kgf brake force).`

“Our newly introduced soft dimple roller is the direct result of feedback from the market” says Mark Ost, UK sales director of Snap-on Diagnostics. “Our brake tester research showed that what the market needs is a roller that is much kinder to test vehicle tyres. Our new dimple roller achieves this as well as being harder wearing than existing standard grip rollers. It has also been designed so as to ensure lower long term maintenance costs.
