Nizhnekamskshina present at ecology congress

Representatives from Tatneft-owned Russian tyre maker Nizhnekamskshina have taken part in the 2nd Congress of Russia’s Ecologists. The Moscow-based event, held on 21 and 22 November, aimed to address and implement the tasks defined in the "Principles of the Russian Federation State Policy in the Economic Development till 2030". The environmental forum also served as a platform for discussions on important events in the field of environmental protection plus options for processing household solid wastes, oil and other industrial wastes.

The event was organised by the international forum “Global Experience and the Economy of Russia”, the Russian Federation’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Russian Ecological Union; support was given by the Federation Council, the State Duma, the Government of the Russian Federation and Russia’s Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment. The congress was attended by over 1,000 delegates from Russia, Europe, North America, Southeast Asia and Africa.
