Nationwide Accident Repairs launches website
Nationwide has launched a new website, www.nationwiderepairs.co.uk, covering information on its Repair Centres, Mobile Repairs, Motorglass, Fast Fit + and Accident Management services. The site includes an online estimating system for light vehicle damage, which allows visitors to upload pictures of their damage. Nationwide also retained one of the old site’s features; progress tracking on vehicles repaired in one of its 63 Repair Centres.
The site has been designed to take into account the increased use of smartphones, making it “mobile first”, and represents the “first of many steps” for Nationwide in improving its online presence, the company says. The company states that future developments will help the online platform to evolve as customer behaviour patterns change.
Chief executive Michael Wilmshurst explains the company has “invested significantly in IT over the last three years”. He believes the company’s “integrated technology” can now offer: “A programme which combines customer service and the online space, results of which can already be seen through our position as the highest rated UK Accident Repair company on the review centre, with a 4.3 star rating.”
